Children from P2 and P7 are working together to make a film celebrating Dunbar’s fishing heritage as part of the “Big Generation Catch” project by Strive Wellbeing.
We’ve been having a great time the last couple of weeks working with pupils from Dunbar Primary School. They’ve been learning how to interview and present, as well as how to use the camera equipment.
We then headed out to hear the stories of the people that use the harbour (managing to fit in a pitstop for fish and chips on the way). In this photo, Gordon is showing us how a lobster pot works before the P2’s get him on camera to ask him some tricky questions.
The film will be used as part of an exhibition at the Dunbar Townhouse Museum next year. Watch the clip below to see the team in action!
