Media Education was set up in 1989 in the belief that we all have the right to be empowered to express ourselves and have our voices heard.
We work alongside third and public sector organisations to provide creative podcasting and filmmaking workshops for groups and individuals, supporting people to develop the skills and confidence they need to share their experiences, start conversations and create positive social change.
Media Education combines high quality filmmaking and facilitation skills with expertise in nurturing trust and working sensitively and supportively with people from a wide range of abilities and backgrounds.
In 2016, Media Education became a Community Interest Company in order to further our community development aims. Our six core staff members make up the board of directors.
